Research Report Result

I received 76% for my research report, Its tough to get anything over 70, but I still thought I could have done better. My design concepts let me down, which is where I expected to score high.

Deciding upon a logo

I decided to use the logo on the right, the canvas surrounding the "ART STUDIO" is met to represent the letters "G" and "K" - the artists initials

Colour Scheme

I am looking at having light greys and whites in the background, in order to allow the artists work to stand out, however I needed a colour to use in the logo and which will contrast the greys and white, and which could also be used for roll overs................................I found the answer eating a bowl of SOUP!!!!

Design Presentation

I had my design presentation today, I felt it went fairly well. Could have done with some more time however. I decided to compile a video instead of using power-point and I feel this helped the audience grasp a greater understanding as to the concept of my project.

I am using Unity to build my 3D app of the artist studio and I'm currently building the supporting website using flash.

The following report contains all the information I carried out when researching for the project.

Basis of my Final Year Project

Presently it is most difficult for Artists to establish themselves and showcase their talent. Opportunities to display at galleries are at a premium and many talented individuals remain undiscovered.

To increase the Artists’ exposure, I aim to build a responsive website which allows a user to view the Artists’ paintings, watch the artist at work and also explore the Artists’ studio at home in a 3D environment.
